Distance Covered:

Well powered on 6.7m most of the time. Tried chop hops hooked in which saves a lot of energy having to hook out and in again. Experimented with gybes by bearing away for longer to make sure I was up to speed before starting to carve and then sheeting in harder. This worked well so long as the wind was up - the sail went lighter and then sheeting in really made the board bite through the turn. No good in the lulls - sheeting in just killed the power - tricky business gybing consistently.

A great afternoon and lots of windsurfers out.
